Zillow Rant

I just got the notification from Zillow today. My home value has decreased again. We bought it 4 1/2 years ago and it's worth the least amount today, losing 90K in value in the past 7 months. It makes my blood boil when Obama says the economy is turning around because I'm not seeing it in home values, food prices, gas prices, or job creation numbers.

When I'm faced with the perils of the economy I just take a deep breath and thank the Lord for our jobs and the ability to pay our mortgage and other bills every month. Those are enormous blessings in tough economic times.

I wouldn't get too stressed out about Zillow. It's just a service. There is more to selling that just what zillow states. I know the homes around me are selling for more than what zillow states.
